First & Only Blind Person To Hike The Appalachian Trail Alone
Bill lost his fight to prostate cancer on Saturday, March 1, 2014.
He was amazing man. For those of you who knew my husband, he was a loving, strong, faithful, giving and compassionate man. He reached out to so many throughout his lifetime across the country to lend a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on, for words of wisdom. He believed in everyone and gave everyone a second chance. He will be sorely missed by all. He will be forever in our hearts.

The way our culture is today, many people are weary from the day to day demands of work, family and life. All this can be exhausting and very frustrating. Despite the circumstances and pressures we all face, it doesn't have to be that way. Many who attend a function where Bill Irwin helped people discover a renewed energy and commitment to face the obstacles of life differently; they would know that their life had been changed forever.
